Universo Santos

The exhibition is structured in two blocks which have been set up in the Estudi General and Acadèmia rooms of the La Nau Cultural Centre. In the first room, a composition of slanted walls builds five spaces with audio-visual projections, corresponding to key elements of Carles Santos´ work: The Piano; Water and the Sea; Sex and Religion; Gigantism and Weightlessness; Body and Food.

In the second hall, the musician´s “tampered pianos” are set up in an almost theatrical manner, reinforced by dramatic lighting and a shiny vinyl floor, achieving a breath-taking effect.
