The exhibition delves into the work of the three sculptors who were direct heirs of the nineteenth-century Spanish sculptural tradition that, at the same time, had an important role in the renovation of the Spanish post-Benlliure sculpture scene. At the same time, the exhibition seeks to enrich the overall understanding of both these artists and their time, suggesting new research lines and contributing to a critical understanding of their legacy. The sculptures of the three authors, of very diverse formats, are arranged in aligned, interconnected plinths. This gives rise to a number of macro-structures whose aim is not only to organise the space of the room, with no walls, but also to present a chronological distribution and a distribution by author of the different pieces. Six panels reproduce some of the artists' lost sculptures, suggesting a landscape of large-format pieces that contrasts with the works displayed and provides spectacular scenery.
