Sympathy for the Stones

The exhibition, in the words of its commissioner Fernando Castro, “features this legendary music band within the framework of 'contemporary visual culture', analyzing its multiple iconic presence through photographs, documentaries, graphic work, videos, works of art and testimonies of some of its concerts.”

It is basically an exhibition divided into different parts around a selection of around one hundred photographs of five renowned artists, who at some point in their career, supported the Rolling Stones on stage. An art-work section has been added with the original album covers, as well as some of other visual creations generated by the impact of the group.
