El daguerrotipo en España

The exhibition the first photographic procedure and its introduction in Spain, contextualizing the invention, trying to understand the way of thinking and the modes of expression of an era and the impact that photography had on European social, cultural and scientific history.

The solution to illuminate the daguerreotypes and their adequate visualization and conservation was the parameter that mainly affected the proposal.

Drawers-showcases mounted on feet in the form of a tripod were designed in the manner of the old cameras. These drawers allow to regulate the illumination of the daguerreotypes with the intensity and the angle necessary for their perfect visualization.
